I`ll be pulling the motor and pump off the frame and mounting it on the trailer itself.

Remember you cannot let it run idle for more than a couple of minutes without opening the gun.Failing to do so will cause the pump to heat up and pump failure will happen sooner.
Also,with direct drive machines you should use the shortest length of hose from the tank to machine.Direct drive are meant to be force fed not actually pull the water.Keep the rubber feet on it when you mount it to the trailer as well.I have seen them left off and the fatigue eventually causes the engine/pump housing to crack.

Already pulled it off the frame. Rubber mounts will be mounted to dampen vibration. The hose from the tank to the washer will be no more than 2 1/2 feet, if that. I just hope it will be able to suck the water without problems. I did raise the tank 4 extra inches.

I think youll be fine...i have a similar set-up except my tank is in the bed of my truck....the pressure will be reduced when its not force-fed, but that wont matter because your washer is 2400 psi which is more than enuff..

good point...i use a 10 ft hose that you can get in the camping section in walmart....i also saw a 6 ft hose which would be better for you at ace hardware

Yeah it really is odd, isn`t it? I get all of the foam hand applicators I use from there. 4 for $1 is a very good price!!

Yep, i agree 100%. I would suggest setting the pump up so that it recycles itself back into the tank. you can go to any pressure washer supllier and get the parts cheap to do it yourself.

I`ve attatched a few pics of how i got mine set up to give you and idea of how it works. I do alot of pressure washing so i upgraded to a gear driven pump incase your wondering what that one part is between the pump and motor.

You beat me to the punch.Having the machine dump back to the tank was going to be my next suggestion.
By doing so you end the worry of burning up the packings in the pump and can leave it running idle all day.We use a hudson float valve to cut the water off but, our tank is 225 gallons and we need a constant water feed to keep up with the machine while we pressure wash.
