I just got my website put up and its about 95% done. Just wanted to see what you all thought about it and if you have any suggestions. Most information is just filler for now till i get a chance to update it with some more information. Thanks. http://www.extratouchdetail.com

The layout is clean and navigation is simple.
You may want to add pics of some of your work in a gallery, also you may want to rethink some of your prices. It sounds rather inexpensive if someone comes in with a heavily swirled car, or at least say that they are dependent on cars condition.

It looks like you have the right idea though.

Is it a pre-fabed template, did you code it yourself, or did have it done...

whatever the case, I think it`s crisp clean and very professional looking!!

Actually, I would go out of business offering those prices, except the Clay & Express Detail. $60 for 3 stage? On a coupe perhaps. $60 for wash, wax & polish?

I don`t think his prices are that low. The complete detail doesn`t include clay or the 3 step polishing does it bbr4d3r?

You have to charge tax in New York on details?

Would you want to do a mini van inside and out for $100? It doesn`t say he won`t, or that there is an upcharge for extreme cleanups or O/S vehicles.

bbr4d3r, don`t get me wrong the layout is great , you just may want to cover yourself a bit.

Your right. I have no idea what I was thinking. I just saw "depending on the size of the car" under clay and polishing and assumed it was under all of them.

Very nice looking site. I really like the choice of graphics and how everything flows really well. The site is very easy on the eyes. Great work!

One suggestion would be to go back in and change the name on the page. At the top of the browser it still has the template name on it.

    Re: My Website.

Yeah, the whole page in general is still under construction so that will eventually be fixed. And yet i havent finished putting all the info about pricing and what not. I do charge extra for vans and those really dirty cars but.

As for the site itself i had it done from scratch by my a web designer that works for my brother. I am trading him a few detail jobs for the work he has done for me. Pretty good deal if ya asked me = )

Anyone who has suggestions on pricing please feel free to give me some info.

    Thanks!

    Re: My Website.

Agree with above. Very clean and eye appealing site. Projects a very professional image.

Is the $99 complete detail price the same for a four door dually truck and a VW bug? Same with the Int/Ext details. I did a brief search of the site and didn`t find a price disclaimer. Some folks out there will expect the lowest price no matter the size or condition of their vehicle.

    Re: My Website.

The prices may be low, or maybe good for regular cars, but maybe put a "may change for size and condition" type thing on the pages. I would also like to add, that in many locations people will not pay 200 bucks for a full detail for a truck, its just how it is. So all pricing should be up to you to decide on, you know the area your in better then anyone else, but just cruise the internet or this website to see what others charge and see if your in-line.

Website looks great, simple, clean, very very good job and definitly worth a few details.
