Dallas area meet?

I would like to attend, but will need a minimum of 1 week notice to book time off work. Where ever it is hosted, may I call on you, Scottwax, for a hotel/motel recommendation in the immediate area. Right now, I`m severely limited as to what I can actually do as a consequence of neck surgery in May, but photo work will not strain me.

I`d say some time after Labor Day would be best. Definitely before mid November when it really starts cooling off.

Still 100+ every day this week. How about something towards the end of September/early October? My sister is getting married at the end of October and I think I am expected to be there. I also might go up to Greenville, IL and see my son play college football before mid November.

Count me in! I`m out of town the first weekend in October, but I could attend any other time - heck, I can even offer my driveway if necessary; I have room for about 6 cars.

What area of town are you in?

Still supposed to be well into the 90s through the middle of next week, probably best to wait for it to cool down a bit.

Scott, if everyone is still interested in a gtg, the weather should start cooling off anytime, I mean it IS OCTOBER for crying out loud. Who knows, 2 or 3 more months and maybe we can take a break from mowing the lawn

I would like to meet some of the guys around here that do the detailing.

I am busy for the next 3 weekends-my sister is getting married this weekend, I have a friend`s car to do in Waco the following Sunday and the weekend after that, I am going to southern Illinios to see my son play some college football.

It doesn`t have to be a `detailing` meet, maybe we can all just get together one night for dinner. I can do something Friday or Saturday night the first weekend in November, otherwise it would have to wait until the 3rd weekend.

Sounds good to me. Arlington or somewhere in the mid cities would probably be best since that would be between Dallas and Fort Worth.

Any other suggestions? Maybe a Sunday afternoon meet followed by dinner? Anyone have a large enough area for several people along with parking if we decide to do some detailing?
