I`m just looking for the most experienced Detailer I can find. Cost is not an issue... I`ve been planning this for a while and have a lot of trust issues with this car.
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!Post Thanks / Like - 2 Likes, 0 Thanks, 0 DislikesRaysWay, The Old Dude liked this post
As stated in my post, only looking for someone in the San Diego area.
Why not fly someone out. I know Thomas Dekany will do it an he`s in Oregon.

IMO wetsaninding OE SS black on a `94 Toyota would be a really ill-advised thing no matter who`s doing it. Primary concern oughta be preservation of the original finish. Slow, gentle, and very, *VERY* careful, aiming for "significantly better is more than good enough" lest the work end up precipitating a repaint. Remember that with SS you`ll have to do it again (and again and again even if it`s stored indoors in climate-controlled conditions and *never* sees the road), just the nature of the beast.
[Heh heh, Accumulator knows from maintaining OE single stage paint If he does say so himself. ]

I want someone that`s within driving distance. Sounds like Car Connoisseur may be the best pick for me. It may not need wetsanding.
