Anybody know anyone in the Bay Area that`s expert is doing fix up on touch up paint? (touch up paint, wet sand, buff, etc..)

See below damage of a family member`s car done by backing up into a garage door. We don`t want to take it to the body shop to get it done as it`ll probably cost us $$$.`

    Any guidance is welcome.`

IME, a proper touch-up takes time, and time is money. My labor rate is $60/hr, most the shops in your area are closer to $100/hr. My suggestion would be to just touch it up yourself and call it a day. A good touch-up would probably still be noticeable and if you`re going to throw money at it bring it to the body shop and have it done right.

Is the car silver or white?

No problem. I was on my phone and your Avatar had a silver car in it.

Color match is going to be your biggest hurdle being a tri-coat.

touch up wont look good.` I highly suggest a repaint for a closer/even match compare to a blob of new paint.` as chad said, the tri-coat whites are a PITA to get to match

Buy some touch up paint from the dealer, get a langka kit and learn how to use it. Then wait for some idiot to rear end you and pay for a proper repair.

while I agree with you Dan, touch up looks worse IMO.` Colors never match.` I would rather paint entire bumper.

It sounds to me like the OP isn`t prepared to spend any $$$ on this....see 1st post.` Touch up paint is probably going to be the solution for this person.
