I did some paint correction on a black 09 tahoe and the owner wants to find a place he can get it washed near home or work, that won`t undo the work I put in. He lives in Hayward and works in Redwood City. I would help him out but he likes getting it washed twice a week and I don`t have the time and I`m kinda far for just a wash. Any suggestions I can give him?

if he`s that cautious and wants to maintain your work, charge him enough to make it worth your while. i have some clients who pay me $60 for a basic wash, weekly!! because i have corrected the cars and they know i am able to maintain it.

Two buckets from Home Depot, some Megs Gold class, a grit guard, waffle weave and some MF towels and a sheepskin mitt should do the trick.

None that I know of, but I do make occasional trips back to San Jose (2x to 3x) a month. I`m not sure if I would even look at yelp. I would second the suggestion that he washes the car himself too.

I`ve recommended proper washing procedures to him, but he just isn`t going to do it himself.

Twice a week? Every time you touch a car, no matter how careful, it will induce marring. I`m willing to go to his house (I`m in Fremont) Twice a month.. but he`d be needing a correction every other month if he washes it twice a week.

    Just some food for thought..
