I have a `06 Artic Silver Cayman S with about 2000 miles on it.

I`m looking to get it waxed to protect the paint. I`m not sure what else I should do to it to keep it looking nice.

I figure if I get it waxed 2-3 times a year and keep it washed regularly, it should keep the car looking good but I"m newb at this.

Looking for a detailer and prices I should be paying.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

While SpoiledMan might be "da Man" according to the other pc, he`s not the only one in town.

My apologies Richard, for some (stupid) reason my brain placed you in a different part of town. I stand corrected.

aaronc, I would highly recommend either OctaneGuy or SpoiledMan for the job.

Now I know Thousand Oaks ain`t near the West Side, but if you`re willing to haul your butt that far south on the 405 parking lot I`ll amend my list.

And, just to hedge my bets, if gbackus is willing to wander that far west I`ll add him too.

Anyone else want a piece of me?! :bat

    OctaneGuy,

Your first "after" pic of the Porsche Carrera 4 Buff is swirled city, I`m sure it was a mistake. :soscared:

It`s no mistake. What I didn`t clarify was that it was a test spot. Do you see the line? Swirl above and no swirls below the light?

Ok that post has been amended. Thanks.

i was wondering how to contact you guys for a detail for my car. Its black 03 Inf G35. Whats the cost? I went to meguiars day early this month and the guy told me that he needed to wet sand my car down to make it all new again. not sure if this the only option. Let me know guys.

That`s wild. My oldest brother is Ed Lin. Do you know him?? Just kidding.

So who told you at Meguiars about the wet sanding? Oooh wait, I think I remember. I recall hearing that they went with really aggressive methods to restore your finish. Were you there a few months ago with Mike Phillips?

Hmm wait you said it was earlier this month. Maybe I have the wrong car. Its hard to give you an answer without seeing pix or seeing it in person.

    Where are you?

    Ed,

PM me your contact info. I`m not far away and I will give you a second opinion. Yes for free. Ash really doesn`t know very much and well, I`d like to see first hand whether he knew what he was talking about or not. If you`re lucky, maybe I can even do a test spot. LOL
