I`ll probably be there. I`ve no idea what I`ll be doing in March, though. What area are we looking at now?

Well, I sent a PM to Dan (thinksnow) and he told me he hasn`t been able to log on due to school. When I sent the 2nd reply, I asked him if his garage was still up for use. Haven`t gottena reply yet. If he hasn`t contacted me for a while and we`re getting closer to the proposed dates, I`ll try to get a hold of him.
You don`t have any rotary skills do you?

I don`t have any enviable rotary skills... I`ve used one before to some extent.Originally posted by MongooseGA

So it possibly would be Williamsburg?
Yes sir. Possibly Williamsburg.
I was hoping to get a rotary for Christmas, but I was equally happy to get a phone instead. I had planned on trying to teach myself on some old junkyard fenders and things

Hey punk, I replied back
The first/second weekend in March idea is up in the air, because I`m organizing a ski trip from March 5-10 for a couple of folks. I`m still available for various times, and the garage is still here, but that is a blackout date for me.
Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand.

Ah, speak of the devil. He lives
School been busy I guess? I`ve been lucky enough that my teachers all like me and don`t assign too much work
If you end up free for either of those weekends, let me know. There was a question from another member on if he could bring a friend or two from his car club. I told him I wasn`t sure because the place of "business" probably won`t be mine.
I haven`t noticed Mr. Thomas posting lately. I guess the cold has thrown off detailing for all of us

Warmer months, maybe? I might not get to bring the finished Lexus to you guys. She still has swirls.
Why is it still cold in March, huh?

Don`t know why,but it really sucks. Is there a possibility you can push the date back even further???

Polish it out!
I did. I should have a trade sample of Pinnacle SMR and ASMR coming in from another local soon. I hit it with the DACP and I still have moderate swirling and some fairly light rotary holograms She needs to be clayed again, and I need to buy new clay as all of mine has been delegated now to wheels. I was thinking of SGx2 and UPP regularly. I put UPP on the Chrysler and it looks amazing.
KiRiMa, probably. My spring break is the end of this month, but I`ll be too busy partying to do get to NoVa.
After this month were already in April, and it always rains in April. April showers bring May flowers...
Now, I have a huge marketing test I have to study for.

April might work.Hopefully it won`t rain too much.
I`m in No.VA, anything below fredericksburg is too far for me. I haven`t detailed the car in a while, our car wash area is closed during winter so I"m waiting for warmer weather and they`ll turn the water back on.
I`ve gone to coin operated car wash and hand washed it a few times, I bring a bucket full of water from home so I don`t waste too much money filling it up, it would take forever. Noone has complained but I usually go at 8am when it`s empty.
Maybe we should discuss what we could cover during the meet? Those darned mid-westerners are gonna have one hell of a time. .
Anyway, I was thinking along the lines of:
Rotary skills
Wetsanding skills
Bowhunting skills
Paint chip repair skills
Engine cleaning skills
and Cage fighting skills.
Is there anything else not mentioned that some of the new guys to detailing might want some help with? Claying, PC, etc?
Now, who has mastered any of these? I am going to attempt some paint chip repair on my Lexus as soon as I can find a color match for it. I don`t think PaintScratch.com has my code

This is your man for bowhunting and cage fighting skills:
