I highly suggest getting business cards professionally done and carry 2-3 with u everywhere in ur wallet, I also say aim at your target market being the south tampa crowd. They are the niche market who looks for detailers large scale with higher end cars.

That was for supplies and equipment, also purchased a pressure washer... Equaling out to 1200$

but it`s no biggy, I can see how you were taken off guard. Anyways it`s Nice to see a local. I hope all is going well. I`m trying to pickup 4-5 regulars that I see once every 2 weeks or so and do big deals every month and a half. I have two jobs and go to school but I`d still like to 1... Keep my car top notch and 2. Make a little side cash and expand my knowledge.

I`m no longer in the Tampa area, I`m now in Charleston, SC area.

There`s lots of qualified and well known Detailers already in both of these areas. Why would a potential customer choose you over some of these peeple? What makes you different and/or better? I`m not trying to discourage you and anyone else for that matter, I just think it would be great if you shared more then just a sales pitch here to harvest new clients.
