    I am in Mooresville.

    Figured I would get an idea of who is around here. I am a "Detailer" at a stealership, and I am trying to actually learn to detail. I am tired of getting crap when I take my time on a car, or try new techniques.

    anyway, stop in here and say hi

    Statesville here, so just north of you. :wavey Drop me a PM sometime.

    Not a professional detailer . Not sure, I am up to amateur status either. LOL I have just recently caught the bug (when I got a new car last fall) and have mainly been learning, practicing, and trying not to do more damage than good...

    Thanks! I did not want to wait on the Bullitt "Hunter Green" and already had one black car, so that left red... I liked the darker metallic red better than the bright red. (And my Ranger is bright red so at least a LITTLE variety in colors. LOL)

    No mods yet. I did order side scoops and had them painted to match when I bought the Mistang. Bascially I am mainly planning appearance modifications. It came with all the power I need... LOL Maybe a cold air intake one day... :getdown

    I`m from Charlotte. I`m getting ready to try my own full detail over a few days on labor day weekend.

    Here`s what I`m working on:

    with standard 19s - a set on Flickr

    I plan on taking plenty of pictures (before, during, after) and document each step as I go.

    This is my first time doing the full work up and I`m using a portal cable orbital buffer. I`ll get to a rotary one day (baby steps...).

    Anyway, if anyone is interested in coming by to check it out, have a beer, and give some advice... shoot me a PM. I will try to wash/clay Friday, polish1/polish2/KAI Saturday, wax1/wax2 on Sunday.

    There are a bunch of car people meeting up Sunday mornings in Charlotte.

    Just in case you haven`t heard about it:

    Idea: Weekly GTG - Cars and Coffee - Charlotte Edition - Carolina Euros

    I am busy the next few weekends (detailing my car), but I think I will be out there Sunday September 7th. There`s a small chance I could make it out labor day weekend, but that`s when I`m doing the bulk of the work on my car.

    Man whoever installed those Halo rings did a bangup job. Top notch! It`s a shame this car isn`t Imola Red....I hear they`re much quicker.

    Car //M3 = new Car();

    if(//M3.color == "Imola Red" && //M3.smg == false)

    {

    MessageBox.Show("Cushdrive`s car is faster than Quixotic`s");

    }
