I was wondering how many cars a busy detail shop can do. Our business has done 10 cars so far this week and I`d like to keep busier then that. Last weekend we did 6 in one day and I`d like every day to be like that. Let me know.

Full details I can average out at about 10-12 per week. All other services vary. Keep in mind, majority of the time I am solo though.

It varies greatly. Anywhere from 3 or 4 to 10-15. I also have my weekly wash customers, which on average is 20-25 cars (at $30 a pop and most tip). I also will wax my wash customer`s cars regularly. I`d say a normal day for me is 2-4 washes and 1-3 either exterior, interior or full details.

two or 4 cars/trucks a week just doing full detail jobs. I don`t hardly just wash/wax alone. Most cars I get is more like restoring from agly to shiny and clean that takes me about a day and a half to do. Some cars that are in good shape 3 to 4 hrs

Like everyone else our number varies on the services we have per day. More important is the bottom line than actual number of vehicles we`ve cleaned.

We shoot for $3000 a week ($600 daily) per two man crew.

Now to reach that goal it took take one RV detail or 3-5 wash and waxes. It just depends.

Yea, some days your draging yer arse in the door after washing what seems like a million cars and you still didn`t make as much as you did the day before wash and waxing an RV and you were home 1 1/2 earlier!!!!

Thats the way it is sometimes.

On average how many full details can your two man crew do in a day and how long is your day?

I am not sure what a fulldetail is. Read here to find out why it confuses me -

When I say a full detail I mean a total job. Interior and Exterior. Some offer a quick clean with a hand wash. And that is all that is. I had a woman call last week that just wanted the interior of her Ford car that she just bought used, detailed. Not the exterior. It was dirty inside. So by full I mean a full job, interior/exterior to your level.
