I have a 98 Accord where the clear coat is missing in a couple of fairly inconspicuous places. It hasn`t been damaged but simply flaked off. Is this easy for me to repair with some fine sanding to feather off the edges and then maybe spray some some new clear coat from an auto store spray can, which can then be polished with my PC?

I`m sure that that kind of "defects" are to be fixed by pro`s .

Spraying new clear & then buffing will allways show the edges.

    my humble opinion
