Poorboy`s Foaming Shampoo (Grapes, Above and Beyond) ;)

Had a chance to use PoorBoy`s foaming shampoo (SHAMFOAM) yesterday. It`s not really called that but I can see that skinny Aussie guy saying ShamFoam. As others have said it`s purple and smells like grapes. This car is my daughter`s, she and her sister helped with the wash and both commented on the pleasant smell. These girls are first rate helpers. She took the pics and was very pleased with the outcome.

The car is a 2016 Escape, platinum white and was moderately dirty. The Ford truck in the background is also part of the family. My Father lives next door.

Mixed up a quart of the Poorboy`s Grape ShamFoam at 2 oz shampoo to 14 oz. water in the foamer.

Sprayed the car first with water to get the junk off and then foamed the car. This mixture foamed very thick and creamy. It is kind of like a wet shaving foam mixed a bit on the soapy side. This foamed as well (if not better) as the other premium products I`ve used recently and did a good job of clinging to the surface. At this point I felt the mix on the surface of the car with my finger, the lubricity of the foam may have been more slippery than the product I`ve been using. Once again the grape scent was very pleasant.

Rinsed the foam off and repeated the process. It rinsed off very easily, I was quite happy with how clean the surface was at this point prior to moving on to the bucket wash.

I appreciate the opportunity to review this new product. Once again, priced right, Poorboy`s has another winner here.

Is this new? It must have slipped past my radar. I do not see it in store. I had the chance to use slick & suds. That soap is also stellar!

Thanks Ron, you know me, pics don`t like me. My daughter took these and that`s why I have them. Even with that being the case, I spent a couple of hours transferring from my daughter`s Samsung phone by way of text to me, me texting to my email, to a Windows machine, I saved the pics and had them properly oriented and made the thread. Had a couple of responses to that thread but ended up deleting it. My daughter asked to not show her plates, I could delete the pics from the original thread but the thread would not let me put the replacement photos in. It still recognized the thread as having 10 posts though 2 had been deleted. I ended up starting a new thread. This took a couple of hours and now the orientation on a couple of them is not correct. I was too tired of messing with it. Probably go back to no pics. I`m just not good at it.

4u2nvinmtl, It is a beautiful area. I have an 11,000 ft. mountain about a 15 minute walk away.

This is taken standing on my front porch, this time of year everything is still green and the mountain tops are snow capped. I love the mountains like Ron loves the snow birds, errr, I mean the beach.

That view is simply stunning, GearHead! What a wonderful sight to see from your own front porch. I love the Rockies.

    Great job Mark!

It`s awesome that the foam was THAT thick, with 2:14 (1:7) dilution.

I haven`t had a chance to test my sample yet, being as it just showed up the other day. Well... that and we`re not at home much lately.

I`ll probably do it `straight up`, comparing it directly to my current favorite, HyperWash.

But seeing it making foam that thick... maybe a 50/50 mix would be in order.
    Later,

Well duh... I think I got caught up in the mixing of a pint because I could always add more shampoo to the container. 2/14 = 1/7, this modern math is just too much. Gotta be honest here. I never gave that a second thought until I read your post. Please don`t tell anyone this is what it has come to for me.

By the way a pint of mixed shampoo is just about what it takes me to completly cover my Edge or her Escape thoroughly one time. A full quart will do the whole job (2 complete sprays) and I find myself finding ways to keep spraying just to empty the cannon.

Steve, this is a product that I`d consider using over my current product. I liked it a lot.
