Bold n bright gel vs regular- a quick review

Tires from my frontier scrubbed twice with apc and tire brush.

    Applied both with seperate

switched to tuff shine orange foam applicator for the gel for obvious reasons- see those brush marks on the smooth tire sidewall?

    fresh

    2.5 days

    Tried same on my SRT
Foam applicator for gel only worked better so kept with that

Thoughts: the gel is much easier to apply than the liquid, not surprising there. The liquid however appears to have provided darker sheen. I thought this was initially attributed to the brand new brush applicator used on the gel compared to the fully broken in brush applicator used on the liquid but when I switched the gels applicator to a tuff shine foam applicator block the same results were seen.

For my truck I`ll probably stay with the liquid because I like the extra glossiness on those big tires but for my car I`m definitely switching to the gel because I like the way it looks on the low profile tires and I don`t prefer a lot of gloss on those tires. i need to get the carrand brush more broken in for the gel because as you can see the foam pad didn`t get inside the street comp lettering with just one or two smooth passes.

Longevity: no idea, i clean my vehicles weekly so probably a bad person to ask that question to but i did save post 2 for an update.

    Thanks for viewing

I prefer the BnB version over the spray version too. I have not had a chance to use a brush yet.

I love Bold and Bright but just am not really a big fan on gels. B and B is one of my fav tire dressings next to Hyper.

Plus 1 on the the gels sentiment. BnB is my go to tire dressing.

I have pinnacle gel for when I want to go SUPER dark but that`s only for shows

overall I like bold n bright (either one works for me) but since I have both now its easier to use the spray on plastic moldings, running boards, etc

nice to have the gel and not get the liquid on my hands from running off the applicator

How do you like those Nitto Motivo tires? Looking to replace my Nitto NT05`s with something that lasts longer and pickup dedicated drag wheels and slicks...

I use both gel and liquid.

    Depends on my mood

Did not realize so many users here love BnB. I`ve been using the liquid version for years. Great product, I sometimes use it to dress engine bay plastics.
