    I am looking at getting a 2006 Toyota 4runner and was thinking of getting it in black.. But am concerned about swirls and whatnot.. How are the paint on these?? Soft/Hard? Good or Bad?

    medium, and dont do it! LOL, black is like a part time job if you are anal about swirlmarks! plan on once a month polishing to keep it swirl free

    We had a 2007 with silver paint, and to me the paint seemed a little on the soft side. Soft enough so that bird bomb removal using quality MF and plenty of Poorboy`s S&W would most often times leave marring, even when being very delicate. The plus side is that polishing could be accomplished with very mild combos.

    Or something that is good at concealing swirls! I have dark blue, its just as bad as black. But it looks soooooo good when its clean.
