I have an old fiberglass basketball backboard and want it to shine. Can anyone suggest what will do it? I have tired DP Super Swirl remover with a rotary and it did not look any better. Is there an OTC I can get.

I have seen similar backboards that were too far gone to save. If it is polishable, I would try the 3M line of marine compounds. (3M part no. 051131, 051131, and 051131) If that does not do it, try a gelcoat restore product.
