    Do i have to dry the car before i use the step 1 pre cleaner or just go to it after i wash it?



    also would it be better to use like megs scratch x on deep scratches and marring etc.. after i do the cleaner then do the step 2 and continue on??

    The car should be dry before applying any of the Mothers steps.



    If you have lingering issues such as smears and surface scratches/scuffs, then continue with scratch x or a similar product until you resolve it. The step 2 should go onto the thoroughly cleaned surface.

    You still need to dry the car first. Step 2 is just a glaze, so it`s not going to get rid of the deep scratches, or any scratches and marring for that matter. It`s just going to cover it up. That`s not a bad thing, but it definitely won`t do anything on the deep scratches. You can definitely try the Scratch X on the deeper scratches. I have used it and it is excellent.
