    Re: New floor in shop

Most high end Asian and European shops have a correction area that is done this way. It keeps the light from repeatedly bouncing off the walls and washing out the defects even with focused lighting. Dylan from Rupes explained that to me after I saw pictures of Rupes facility. And I can tell you it works. Yes the floor has some give, but I wouldn’t call it soft. The sample they gave me I tried everything that has been mentioned and nothing phased it, and my rolling stool works fine.

They also do dealership shops and driveways with it.

I haven’t seen him post in a long time. I miss his posts and I have no idea what happened to him.

    Mike,
Very interesting surface. Color(s) are black, black & black?

I found their website.... 28 colors.

Update on the floor, love it! Not one issue at all. Just use a cheap foam gun, fill with APC and broom it. Rinse and done. Highly recommended over epoxy. As far as walls, Rupes replies on you tube has a video explaining that. As far as posting, just got back after shut down, will try to post more. Pretty much selling the crap out of Graphene. It is the next thing!

Mike, what coatings are you offering now? I thought you were doing Modesta? Were there issues or things you didn’t like about them?

Ground up rubber, not recycled, that is mixed with resin, and can be placed over almost anything. The company came Wednesday and ground the tile for better adherence. They came today and installed the Rubaroc in our color choice of black with grey mixed in. It goes on a quarter inch thick after an adhesion promoter is rolled on. A 10 year warranty on the product and 1 Year on labor. If we should damage a spot, they com and cut out that section and re apply. I’m really happy with the results! Saturday we can replace the trim, clean and put the shop back together. Thank you for looking!
