    LED Bulbs

I`m thinking about putting these in the two existing porcelain fixtures in my garage.

Can anyone recommend some good LED bulbs?? I"m still using the "old fashioned" regular bulbs in my house...

    Thanks!

    Dschribs !!!!!
Excellent Find - Thank You !!!!! I am going to get some of these just to see what they do...

I read a bunch of the reviews and only a few people had trouble with them, I assume because they were too rough on them and they are probably not as sturdy as an american equivalent, etc..

I only have purchased LED bulbs from a company named TCP (on Amazon, or at 1000bulbs.com and had great results... Costco may have then also, I have not looked though; but Costco also sells online..

I changed my sockets to duplex receptacles.

Then installed 5 LED fixtures from BJs in my garage.
4 in the 20`x20` car area and one in a 9`x7` area.

I was actually impressed with Walmart’s GReat Value line of 60 watt/equivalent LED light bulbs. The color temperature is good, not too cool/blue, but brighter than incandescent. I like that the GV bulbs are plastic and look like traditional incandescent. The light from the LED is evenly dispersed and if I didn’t know I would think they are just a really bright incandescent.

Ours didn`t age all that well, got dimmer, but the color *was* good (in the opinions of two people of a certain age ). They might be different/better these days though.
