    Rainy Saturday

Rained almost all day in CT today. Took the opportunity to organize my garage. Just bought the tall cabinet and shelving unit from Home Depot yesterday. Quality is actually not too bad. The tall cabinet has all my products. Shelving unit is microfibers and pads.

The hub caps were actually off my grandfather`s cars. 1951 Packard is one. Not exactly sure of the other one but I`m betting it was a Chrysler.

Looks great. Nice garage. It does not look insulated so cold in winter?

For the low investing in those faced rolls it`s worth doing it in the long run ! Looking good you gonna sheet rock it in or panel it from there to make it look more finished. Could always do reclaimed wood or something else eye catching.

I`ve since sheet rocked and instaled LED lighting. I`ll post an updated pic this weekend.

    Re: Rainy Saturday

So I`ve finally gotten my garage to where I want it for the Spring/Summer. The last thing I need to do is install a ceiling mounted fan over the tall cabinet to cool things off in the hot weather.

Next years project is sheet rock on the ceiling and some sort of coating on the floor. It`s not even close to some of the amazing garages I`ve seen on here but it`s way better than it was and a much nicer work environment.

Started w this a few months ago.

    As of today

Thanks to Rasky for the banners!!

I need to put a thin piece of laminate or something behind the bottle rod in case one of the bottles sprays the walls...learned that the hard way last night. Of course, I could just close the nozzles when I`m done w them...

FYI - For you guys looking for some tunes for your garage - I looked long and hard for a moderately priced QUALITY sound system. I wanted something that didn`t take up tons of space but still sounded good. I`m pretty particular in that regard...

I ended up getting this from Best Buy

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/klipsch-...=ref:212,loc:2

I can`t say enough good things about this set up. It`s blue tooth so it connects right to my phone and the sub adds tons of bass. I put the sub on the bottom shelf of the rack where I keep my towels and pads. Trust me - this thing is worth double what it costs. My best garage investment to date!!

    Re: Rainy Saturday

Coming along very nicely. Sheetrock makes such a huge difference on a garages appearance over studs showing.
