    Finishing Pad - ??

Got me some Essence + on Order.
I have not used a finishing pad in a long time....the finishing pad in my stash are not thin...

What finishing pad would ya`ll say would be nice and simpatico for my Rupes 15 or Boss 21..5" plates.

Looking at all the usual suspects

    Urotec
    LC Thins

Never used these brands for pads but also looking at Griots and CarPros ~gloss~ pad

    Re: Finishing Pad - ??

I use the carpro gloss pads if I am using Essence for that final step gloss enhancement. Not much cut on the gloss pads, I think they are rated at 1 for cut/8 for gloss according to the CarPro site. They are great for softer paints that mar easily as well. I used them with Essence recently on a black Saab with very soft paint to enhance gloss and clean up any left over marring from the compound/ polish steps. Worked very well.

If you can get some gloss pads then get them. If not the Rupes white pad worked just fine.

From CarPro`s product description of Essence Plus:

    Precautions:
    • On coated surfaces – If using machine, use only with CarPro Gloss pad
    • On coated surfaces - Avoid “edging” pad into a curve and keep pad flush with paint
    • Keep container tightly closed after use
    • Keep container out of the sun
    • Test product on inconspicuous area before use
    • Store in cool dry place
    • Keep away from children
    • Do not ingest
    • Not for use as a primer

The CarPro Gloss Pads are great. I would go with those and buy them from Autopia...
