We just helped them setup their sponsor accounts today, so you should see a RUPES rep on here in the very near future.

Can we see a sale on rupes polisher for a welcoming party ha
Of course!
Glad to be here, thank you!
Best news every
Thank you very much. We appreciate your feedback!
Not that Todd guy again... Yes, I am here and hopefully more than minorly (I like the word).
This isn`t a terrible idea. I am on the road next week, but let me see if more brilliant minds than mine can put something together.
I believe this would only be appropriate.
Thanks Al, I am here! And it`s good to be back. When I left Autopia, I knew that their was sponsorship deal going into effect (in fact one of my last tasks on the job), so I didn`t want to step on any toes. My absence has been out of respect. I am glad to be back.
Gracias Pat, my old friend.
Thank you.
You can ask me any question you want, I may not answer them all
Thanks buddy!
Troy! Gracias mi amigo... or Grazie amico mio...
Glad to hear!
*blushes* not that Todd guy again!!!
Thank you!
Oh no... Steve.. smh
Once you come back home...
Absolutely brilliant. PM me your shirt size and shipping info please.
In reverse.
Thank you.
The Cyclo is actually the first large diameter random orbital polisher in a sense. It already has a huge 16mm stroke. If we make the stroke longer, we have to increase the width of the tool, less the pads will interfere with each other when they pass.
We are very consistent with our pricing policy, so discounts are very rare on RUPES tools.
Excellent! Yes this is considerable difference between a well engineered machine and other options.
Thank you. I get zero credit for any of the current models, but our lead engineer, Marco D`Inca and the passionate team at RUPES will certainly appreciate your comments.
Grazie!
Thanks Roberto. It was great to see you the other day.
I suppose I can now say YES
Sorry, long day today. It is 1:39AM, and I just finished up my projects for the day. I wanted to make sure I stopped in and at least said hi.
Disregard my above quoted reply, it is ALL Ray`s fault.
I wish I were that important

Welcome home
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!
Hey, nice to see you Todd. Sounds like they are keeping you busy.
Hey Todd, can you please comment on the washer mod I have the 15 what is your opinion yah or nah.
Glad to have you back Todd!
2006 Saleen S281 Supercharged - Black
Thanks Ron!!!!
Thanks! It`s been too long and it is nice to be back. Yes, very busy, but in a very good way
The BigFoot Polishing System took nearly 3 years to develop! Plenty of testing was done before the decision to implement the "Anti-Spin Shroud" onto the tool design. In our precise testing, the washer mod will allow for more rotation when the tool is in free air, but when the tool is applied to the paint, the difference is quite small (often immeasurable), particularly if using the correctly weighted and dynamically balanced RUPES pads.
That said, the original idea behind disengaging the shroud was to free up rotation at less than full speed. Kevin Brown, the originator of the idea, like to use speeds 3-4 to polish for example, but he also uses other components outside of the engineered system (different pads and compounds). When used with RUPES pads and RUPES compounds, the system has been designed to generate maximum results on speed 6 for UHS, blue, green, and yellow foams and speed 4 on the white foam. It is all part of creating a systematic approach.
When used as part of our system, it offers little to no benefit in our testing and my experience. Outside of the system, I honestly don`t know.
TY TY
Thanks, its great to be back!

So what speed do you recommend for normal compounding with a 21?
I like this guy, he quoted and replied to everyone!
I actually realised that as with tbe current stroke the 2 heads do overlap to make 1 big polishing path...so how about forced rotation and beat flex to the punch to the US over their Russian only L 1506 VR2

Yes, if you combined the 16mm throw of each Cyclo head, you would arrive at 32mm of each throw. HUGE!
RUPES was actually the first company in Europe to develop at gear-driven polisher perhaps 10-15 years ago. The family of this tool (now classified as a sander) is still available in Europe as part number EK 150AES
