Here is what I am thinking of doing since we seem to have a lot of people that want to come to the help day.

I will split up the day.

In the morning we will do all exterior detailing.

    I will cover:

SCOPING THE VEHICLE, WASHING THE VEHICLE, CLAYING THE VEHICLE, REMOVING SWIRLS, POLISHING, WAXING, CHIP REPAIR, PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL.

And yes, this will be the day to lose the fear of the Rotary. I will have LKQ (junk yard) parts on hand for you to try it out.

    In the afternoon:

Interior shampoo, leather cleaning, headliner cleaning, window, cloth repairs, leather repairs, vinyl repairs.

I am sure i am forgeting something on both topics, this is just to start us off and to start to think of more to add. if you have something you want to learn, this will be the day.

stryke, thanks for the offer, i will come by this week and see what we got. I dont want to jam up your place with cars. I am thinking of a few locations that will be open to us all day.

Sounds great to me. I`d like a 3 week warning to schedule some days off from work, but if not I`ll find a way to come regardless... :xyxthumbs

I am interested as well. April or May would be great.

I found this forum in September and I just got a PC for Christmas. I would be driving from Long Island.

I might have a parking lot in Queens, NY we could meet at depending on the number of people and cars.

    NYD,

It is really busy lately and spring is obviously my busy season but I have about 2,500 sq ft of unused space on my lot which can comfortably hold up to 8-10 cars. If people park out on the street then you can easily fit 1-2 "test" cars and a good 15-20 people. I obviously can`t discontinue business for the day but providing an extension cord and the 2,500 sq ft should not affect business at all since we have 11,000 sq ft total.

Come by or give me a call!

    Gil
