Does anyone use an Electric Pressure Washer and how do you like it? I`m thinking about getting one for my mobile detailing shop to help speed things up but I haven`t really heard good things about them. I`d get a gas one but they are just too heavy. Price is not really that important, I need something that is quality.

I went thru THREE Karchers b/4 I went for the the Hotsy Electric. I think it is wondrful, but, at $850, it is a little pricey, unless you`re doing volume...

I bought an electric model from Sam`s club and have used it without incident. It has a "mix" feature I`ve used several times as well. I dunno how well it would hold up in the long term since I have only had it for 4-5 months now.

I too went through a number of Karcher electric ones before I wised up, definitely avoid those! And while electrics have their advantages, they sure don`t put out like a gas powered one. Might not be an issue depending on what you`re doing with it.

You can get a three year warranty on the Karcher ones for only $15 from sams club so I`m still thinking about it. It`s cheap

Heh heh, if my *three* Karcher electrics are any indication, you`ll need that warranty. I hear you about lugging around anything heavier. Wonder if another brand might be a good idea though.

Unless it is a commercial version, you are probably going to have problems. Those made for the home detailer won`t hold up to constant useage.
