Well, this was a first for me. After still soaring on a high from doing the car that aired on TV, I had a guy come to my shop that hardly spoke English. He wanted his 91 Corsica detailed. When I walked around the car with him I touched his outside rear view mirror and paint came off on my hand. That;s right , I touched it and my hands turned white. I asked him about it, he didn`;t know. His rubber trim was coming off and wanted to know if I could fix it. His dash was torn and wanted that fixed as well. He had rust on the fendars and asked about sanding it and painting the defects. On top of all that, he had no money, no checks, nothing. Well, I told him, I don`t do repairs on cars, and I don`t repaint. If you want to come back with $200 next week, I will detail your car. But please understand we are looking for improvement in this case. I`m a little upset because I could of booked another car if I knew this would happen. Some people thing we can walk on water and part the sea. I`m good, but not that good.

Oh yeah, that`s one way to humble someone.
