Although i love the sight of money after a detail. I enjoy detailing which i feel relaxes me so im not too pick w/prices as long as i get to wax something. I know there are probably some out there that are doing it for $ instead of taking it as a passion. hmmm what do you guys think

I do it for money while in college (weekends, vacation breaks, and summers), but I love it more than anything.

I do it for both. I`ve been known to do it for free if I can`t make the sale. I try to get money for it first, but if they just don`t have the money and I really want to try some stuff on their car, then I just do it for free. I`m a bit of a product whore and I need test cars to try stuff out on. I don`t mind doing it for free if I`m testing products. Detailing isn`t fun enough that I would do it all day long for free... the money is a motivator. How else am I going to keep myself supplied with all these products if I can`t make them work for me and earn their keep?

I do it because I love the look and feel of a clean car.

Plus, it gives my neighbors something to talk about:p
