Ok, I threw together a quick web page for customers to look at for quick refrences to previous cars I`ve done. I`ll soon be adding a price listings, and contactings.

Sorry the page is coming...couldn`t find the link.

What else should I add to a page? I`ll add a Qand A section, and a cost page. Anything else worth posting there?

Really nice work Buick_guy. I really admire your initiative.

But, here it comes - I hope that you are not neglecting your school work in favour of this hobby/employment. I know that everyone here will agree with me on this one.

    All the best.

It will be coming up, just trying to keep with my exams right now. I don`t really want to fall behind just because of some stupid car. ( SORRY FOR SAYING THIS!) But school is more important to me than detailing.

Nice start! I do like the graphics.

Some hints above and beyond what others have noted (do with as you please ):

Consider using a smaller version of your website graphic on the subordinate pages.

Try putting a b it of vertical space between the Before and After sections so they are more easily recognizable.

Consider a smaller manufacturer logo as well and put it on the same line as the year and model info (less wasted vertical space).

Too make it more classy (although it creates more work) think about making the manufacturer, model and year info a graphic as well (instead of plain text).

Try sharpening up some of the pics as they look too out-of-focus.

Try framing some of the photos (either directly in the photos or with a TABLE tag) to give them a bit more professional presentation (which goes along with your professional-looking site graphics). Here`s a link to one of my photos: 2004 Acura TSX

Change your footer line so that only the e-mail address is the actual link instead of the entire line itself (will help it to stand out more).

Think about a subtle background image for the pages (gives them a professional touch that stands apart from just plain white).

In closing, you`re off to a great start! Keep it rolling and best of luck with it!
    Happy drivin`,

Thank you very much RadMon!!! That is exactly what I was looking for. I know I have to fix the pictures, since I just can`t afford a quality camera, it will have to hold off.

I just finished the engine bay of the Regal, so I might post that one up there too.

I like the graphics, but a couple things.

If I saw you only detailed two cars, you would not be doing mine. I would build up more of a clientele and document it on your site before you actually introduced it to them.

The emblems look like links to dealers. Stick with words describing the vehicle.

You will definately want a page which tells the customer what each detail entails.

    Good Luck.

OH, don`t take it that I only did two cars. I just threw this thing together a couple nights ago, and haven`t had the time since to add anything due to exams.

I will have my cost page, contact page, and mission statement page up tomorrow.

    So please check back.

    Looks great so far.

Its an issue that some people deem necessary, while other people dont think it needs to be done.... but consider blanking out the license plates on the cars.

I`m working on my own website right now, and these are the pages I`ll probably have:

    1) home page (with contact information)

    2) services and packages

    3) gallery

    4) and possibly a contact page (which would have an email forum and stuff like that on it)

    keep up the good work
