How often do you remmend to your customers that they should have a full exterior detail vs just a wash and wax?
Interviewer: : Rock, you got anything derogatory to say about the champ?

Rocky Balboa: Derogatory? Yeah. He`s great

I guess it really depends on usage and upkeep. I usually recommend a full detail twice a yr....If they let me maintain it during the yr, then i begin with a complete detail, including clay, smr, polish, seal....every quarter i recommend a light polish and seal....It works out to every other detail is a complete...

If I wash for them, they get a coat of Carnauba.....

If they are going to bring it to me on a regular basis then they get a full exterior detail twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. In between they get wax once a month and washes once a week normally. I`ve got three or four customers who are very regular like that. If you can get ahold of the car on a regular basis then it is a lot easier to get it up to standard and then keep it that way. If I`m the only one washing it then they don`t get many swirls and there isn`t much need for a `full` exterior job except for the spring and fall ones.

I recommend to my customers that I wax their vehicles every 3 months and I always do a 2 step, with heavier polishing as needed.

I recommend to my customers that they need to have their vehicles completely detailed at least four times a year, with the change of each season.

Whenever I see the car would benefit from it. I try not to keep someone from spending over 150.00 of their pay check unless I feel they will be happy with the expense. I do the detailing thing as a hobby so I don`t care how much I make.
