Is there anywhere, in Toronto, that I can take courses in professional Detailing or something to become professioanl`s like you?

Then maybe I can get a job at a dealership and have the knowledge to really make my car perfect.

If you have very little experience, and dont want to learn too much about DETAILING a dealership is great!!

If you want to become a professional, get a job at a small detail shop as a car washer, watch and help the detailers as much as possible, and just listen to as much as you can. Most detailers are pretty willing to share their knowledge to those who really want to learn.

Are there not any courses or certification class`s available for this?

I work at a BMW dealership and am making friends with the details. Maybe I can have them teach me. They do unbelievable work.

I mainly want to be a pro for my own use. I use zaino, and a lot of it....my paint is close to perfect but I am sure using a PC, proper polish/wax/sealer it would be WAY better.....I just want to have the best paint around ;-)

It takes a long time to become a pro.

I see new things every day and wonder how people do this to their cars.

It`s not just about cleaning the car but knowing how to use multiple products and when to use them

Anyone can wax a car, but it does take a skill to learn to remove scratches, swirls, paint touch up, etc....

    it all comes in time

i didn`t read books, but i did speak with rep`s of products and got all the info on them.

The problem being trained by someone is you also pick up all the bad habits they have as well.

I cant tell you this practice on your own car, over and over again. use different products don`t just fall into that one product only. carry everything for everyone.

Check with the local trade schools. Check with a 3M or Meguiars, as they have seminars.

The Thomson course is learn at home.
