I live in Canada and in the Winter it`s like -30 or -40 on the regular. Last winter I detailed a truck outside at -50. It was more of a test than a customer. I mixed my water in the tanks with vodca and it sort of came out like a slushy, worked ok but????????

The job got done although the quality was not great, but I can say i did it.........LOL

Do you mean vodka the alcohol? What a waste of money unless you used that cheap crap in a plastic jug!

I store my vodka on ice in the freezer. It`s like syrupy when you pour it and tastes amazing.

I thought you were in Toronto? When the heck does it get to -50 there? I lived in Northern Saskatchewan for a while and it only got down to -57 once.

On the detailing note, I don`t think anything bonds properly below zero. When I detail in the winter, I pull the car into the garage to let the paint warm up to room temperate (65 or so) before I start anything.

Might as well wash the car with winter windshield washer fluid or pre-mixed antifreeze......

I wouldn`t try this as it`s probably hard on wax.

umm...what part of toronto are you in cause since i was born i dont think it`s been down to -50°C where i live. ****ing cold yes....but -50 no...leave your car dirty or build a heated garage. those are the options.

I live in London - 2 hours from Toronto and I think he may be exaggerating a tad. The only time it might get to -50 is with the wind chill.
