when you detail cars in a parking lot...do you drive to the shade? Detail in the sun? Have a canopy?
Thanks

I use a canopy. Besides giving you shade, the canopy draws a lot of attention.
I`ll be getting a canopy as soon as I can. Probably this weekend. Tried washing a car yesterday, and had a tough time just keeping the darn thing wet.
I started a thread about this a while back. There are some pretty good links in it. http://www.autopia.org/forums/showth...threadid=20411 Check it out! :up

Let me put it this way-I always have a nice tan!
I can usually find shade, but a lot of times it is just partial, and some days, there is no shade to be found. I try to schedule dark cars either first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon.
I`ve thought about a canopy, but I`d need some serious weight at the bottom of the poles since it is always windy around here. Several days this spring we`ve had constant 20-30 mph winds.
I have a 10x10 tent i take with me in my truck. If i need it i pull it out.
