Thanks for the responses guys. I don`t think i`m going to spend the big bucks on the wurth model when i can get a similar device for 29.99.

I won`t see this Rep. for 2 weeks, so if anyone has any positive news about the Wurth tool, i will keep an open mind, other wise i think the Ding King is going to find a home at my place.

    Cheers

Jake, yes that is what I am talking about. I wish I took before and after pics though. Somebody on teamintegra showed pics of the dings and dents he got out with the machine so I opted to buy one. Turned out to be a great investment

I have a Ding King too. It didn`t get them all out, but it made enough of a difference that I felt it was worth the $20 investment. It got rid of some of them completely. Others were just too sharp of a crease to be removed. The dent can be pulled but the little crease is still there. Oh well... I doubt any 300 dollar tool could have done better on some of them. On others it might have helped. Either way, I`m still going to end up paying someplace to remove them all for me. I need to start putting up the velvet rope around my car or something. Some people`s kids....

Thanks Blitz, Your Integra is pretty sweet BTW. Is that dye work or paint on the interior? I see it went from gray to black. Looks good!:xyxthumbs

I tried the dent puller on a few dents on the roof on my friend`s car and it actually pulled the dent outward. Hammering it back in to make it level made the dent look a bit warped. I should have hammered it myself b/c my friend was pounding away on his roof a bit more recklessly than I would have.

Even though the puller didn`t do anything for the dings....which is what I really bought this for, this is still encouraging. Shows what kind of pressure this kit is capable of. Guess I gotta keep trying till it works......or till I get 15 failed attempts, whichever comes first.

I`m thinking of maybe lightly compounding the dinged area first.....so the abraded surface may possibly hold the glue better.

Most of the dings on my car are nothing more than small creases. Am I wrong in assuming this product will remove creases as well?

Creases are *much* more difficult then simple hail type dents. The physical changes to the metal are much more complex, and less llikely to `pop` back to the original shape...
