    Brad,

So your kit came with a can of acetone cleaner and a can of adhesive remover?

I guess the adhesive remover is extra or do you guys plan to use 3m adhesive remover in it`s place?

    Thanks,

    Brad

Ok, now I`m confused. My kit came with a can of adhesive remover, not the acetone cleaner. I was planning on getting some 3m when the Wurth runs out, unless someone can suggest something better.

Whoops. Sorry there heckler. I think you are right. I was getting the two mixed up. The can in my kit is labeled, "Klebstoff-Entfernerspray". Is that what you have too? If so, then you are correct, we have the adhesive remover.

Still haven`t received my Wurth Puller yet. In reading the PDR boards, they indicate you can use both rubbing alcohol and denatured alcohol.

Yeah Brad, that`s what I have. I went to one of those translation sites and it said something about glue. I was planning on using some Stoners Tarminator or water/alcohol to clean the area of wax instead of the acetone cleaner before attaching the tabs.

Sounds like a plan. I think I`m going to test it out on my dad`s car first. Lets keep everyone posted as to the results we have if that is ok with everyone.

If the weather cooperates, I`ll give it a try tomorrow on a friend`s beater and post the results with pics. How do you decide on what size tab to use? I`m assuming you should use one that`s a bit smaller than the ding.

I was wondering the same. I was going to use the "eni-meni-mini-mo" method if all else fails.

If you don`t have your Mini Dent Lifter by Thursday/Friday, Let me know. Most of the units shipped out of NJ, so those of you in the Mid-Atlantic will have your kits first. Two of the kits shipped out of CA to the CA residents.

Note on the ACETONE... don`t use it! I used denatured alcohol and it worked fine. ACETONE is too harsh and will dull/remove paint quickly if you`re not carefull.

Just got my dent puller. I am going to be gone tomorrow so won`t get a shot at trying it out till Friday.

    Anyone tried using it yet?

    Thanks,

Mine arrived Indy via UPS Wed 6/5.

Busy over here, hope to have time Sunday to `experiment`.

Ok, I`m 0/4 so far. What am I doing wrong? The glue just acts like it`s not strong enough. First time, I cleaned it w/ denatured alcohol, then took one of the medium tabs and put enough glue on it to cover the whole thing. Stuck it right in the center of the dent, then sprayed compressed air on it and let sit for about 2 minutes. Then I put the lifter on the tab, gently squeezed and then the tab came off. It acted just like the glue just popped off the tab. The next 3 times, the whole thing just popped off and the glue stayed on the tab, but the small door ding is still there.
