    I have my first convertible to do this friday.



    Any tips/hints/suggestions on getting it looking good ?

    Cloth or vinyl? It makes a difference.



    1. Cloth-most of the time, you can just vacuum it and then wipe it down with a damp microfiber towel (make sure you use an MF towel because terry cloth towels will leave lint all over it). If it is really dirty, upholstry shampoo works real well, scrub it down real good, rinse thoroughly and let air dry.



    2. Vinyl-use a good all purpose cleaner and scrub down real well, rinse and let air dry.



    Unless the top in question is really nasty, it should be very easy to clean.
