I`ve never seen that happen before and I`ve basically been using #26 every month for the last 9 months. Two separate brand new containers:nixweiss ,this is strange.

Just curious, did you contact Megs customer service?

Sounds like it got dried out. That happened to a can of Mother`s Pure Carnauba for me. It still did its job, but was very difficult to apply.

Not sure what you are trying to say.

Are you saying the wax is drying up in the can? A very thin layer on the top will usually dry. You also might get some dry wax residue on the sides of the can as you work your way down.

Or when you buff you get a whole bunch of dust that flys all over the car?

I had a can of Mother`s that the lid actually came off and set in the bag I was keeping it in for a month or so. When I took it out to use, the cake (or whatever expression you want to use) had noticeably shrunk and the exterior was brittle and when I try to get some of the applicator, chunks came off. After I scraped off the exterior dried, clumpy stuff, it behaved like a proper paste again.

I`m not sure what you`re saying either. The wax is like stiff margarine and mine has small bits from it being poured all inside the can, but that`s it. Are you using a terry applicator? Maybe it`s lint that`s balling up and coming off as you wax? :nixweiss

The Meguiar`s #26 paste I have is like a soft bar of butter in a cylinder form. I can take an applicator and swirl it around in there and it come out onto the applicator and onto the car like butter.

KCPreki11, it`ll be in the mail thursday! Cody, your klasse will be in the mail thursday too!

The liquid I have goes one asy to, it doesn`t get all gummed up and formed balls.

Bad stock? What kind of container do you have? The plastic oversize is new, the metal tin is old (my #26 paste is 3 years old and is still all good, stored properly in a temp. controlled room.)

I`ve only used the paster version once and went back to the liquid. More user friendly, IMO.

I have the oversized #26 new can and use the foam appy that comes with it. Open the can and as you swipe the wax there are little little tiny balls of wax that come off REALLY
