I`m making my business cards or vistaprint.com and came to the address part. I`m a permanent detailer just starting and will be doing the detailing at my house. The address adds credibility to you but it also some how gives away some privacy i`d rather not to anyone who sees the cards. So do you guys have no address, a remote address (city, state), or your specific street address on your card? Thanks....:xyxthumbs

Unless you have a shop that people are going to drive to in order to get their car done then I don`t think its really needed. I did my cards through vistaprint when I first started out and they turned out great without the address. Check it out...

I was operating for next to nothing when I started. This was all "pre-Autopia" days for me. I had no idea what a real "Full Detail" was. That gives you an idea though. Good idea getting them from vistaprint. They rock!

When I used to do mobile and at-home detailing, I just wrote something like "Serving Anoka and Hennepin Counties" as an address. (those are 2 of the counties that help make up the Twin Cities in MN)

Otherwise I would just put the city and the state...gerneric enough, but still adds credibility (sp).

    Just my 2 cents....

$35 for a full detail, WOW that is cheap

$45 for a full detail and wax, that confused me as the above line shows 35.00 for a full detail.

I think you need to raise you prices X2.

That was his first business card. I commented on that the last time he posted that pic.

You don`t have to put in the line what they have next to it.

    Put prices, other information, etc.

I put Call for appointment on mine for the address.

I got the gloss coating and have them remove the advertisement from the back. Anyone know what the advertisement on the back looks like?

Along the bottom edge on the back it has the vistaprint logo with the name above the mouse cord line. Then next to that it says "Business Cards are FREE at www.vistaprint.com!"

LOL When I look back at it I have to agree with you. I don`t advertise specific prices on my cards now. Different jobs are different amounts. Back then I was just doing a wash and interior detail. Now I`ve learned the error of my ways. I haven`t charged 50 bucks for a detail forever. lol Those were the good old days of innocence though... Now I get paid to remove all the swirls I probably put in my old customers` paint. lol :p
