i think you can, when i got my insurance they did not ask for my tax id # or any forms. They just wanted to know the name of my business and i got the policy.
Insurance would be the smart thing to get, no matter who you are, or what you do, sooner or later everyone will make a mistake on a customers car. Then you will be glad you have insurance.
But i am happy to say my day has not come yet, but i had some close calls

well, one time i just got done dressing the wheels, when i realized i need to buff something out on the fender, i got the PC and started to buff but my hand slipped from the tire gel and the PC started to fall towards the hood, i smacked it away and it landed on the floor, that was a close call.
and then there was this one time at detail camp, when i took the PC and .........
