    A-Frame Suggestions

I`m looking to add an A-Frame sign and looking for suggestions. I want to have this displayed while I`m detailing so that anyone walking or driving by can get some information before asking additional questions.

    1. Any suggestions on where to purchase this? Surprisingly I can`t find a solution on Vistaprint so I`m having to look elsewhere.

    2. What should I have on the sign?

    3. Does anyone have any additional brochures or cards on the A-Frame so that potential customers can grab?

    Thanks!

Ya that`s what I`m realizing. Surprisingly expensive for a piece of plastic ($80-100) and that`s without the sign.

Just get some wood pallets, screw them to some 2x4, slap a couple of hinges at the top, and rattlecan the details on.
    $10 god level sign!

Ya I`m actually considering building something myself. I`m pricing out the materials and it`s not much. I can get a vinyl foam sign for around $15 and a DIY wooden a-frame would cost under $20. Something like this:

I just hate having to pay +$100 for a plastic injection mold with a hinge that probably costs $0.25 to make.

I really like the wooden one you posted Ray. I think it would give a greater impression that you are all about the details rather than a PVC sign. The idea of adding a card holder would be a great addition as well.

Ya now I`m getting some ideas. I`m thinking of making it in wood like that but wrapping it in carbon fiber vinyl. Then using vinyl for my logo and text info. That way if a car guy drives by...they`ll notice the shimmer of carbon fiber

Yeah that`s an awesome idea especially if its nice and reflective.
Just gotta make the carbon fiber pop on the sign..

Have you considered maybe using a door or hood as a sign??
As silly as it sounds but you can have you details in the center and have some tape down the center with a before and after comparison.
This way they have all your contact details and visuals of the work.

Near my house we have minuteman press. They sell these with slide in boards to change your message as you wish.

I would come up with a catchy something like

    Yellow caution sign

caution the shine can be blinding.
