I can`t believe this lenghts this person has gone to F with people? I love how he claims to have been self-removed from Autopia. False. (Got Wax & Got More Wax) Pretty much most of the banned members were allowed to return a short while ago. I didn`t see him as being a good fit for such effort. He`s in the category of Holden in that respect.

    Holden?

Oh and as for the Bud issue.... David, why haven`t you had a word with him? I think we`ve encountered a situation here that fits an old saying:

"If you look around and believe what you`re seeing is that everyone else is the problem, then the real problem is you."

Since he only seems interested in listening to the moderators/administrators of the site, he needs one of you to point out to him that the way he deals with people is not winning him any favors. When someone becomes so motive-driven that they cease to pause and consider what is coming out of their mouths or its contextual relevance, they`re bound to drag things down around them.

    Just saying.

This Andy guy is something else; it`s sad when someone has nothing better to do than sit around and try to screw with other people`s livelihoods for no good reason.

I`ve had a few conversations with Bud actually. Like you (especially in your prior years), Bud is very strong willed and opinionated. I think that core value *can* be a good trait as long as your stay within the rules and are able to control yourself. I`ve not only witnessed some earlier posts from Bud crossing the line a bit, but I`ve also seen plenty of other people go above and beyond to take their pokes at him too. If I had to make an assessment, I`d say that Bud has toned it down lately, unlike when he 1st came out the gate a few months back. So, where do you draw the line? For me, it`s difficult (and time consuming) to try to curb each raging bull just in an effort to keep the forum family friendly. I`m all for the exchange of staunch opinions, but they need to be kept as respectful as possible. This, I know, can be a little challenging for some. Especially people that don`t believe in pulling punches. But at the end of the day, it`s a detail forum for crying out loud. I personally respect Bud (as well as many others that post here) for what he`s done (and attempted to do) for this industry. He`s not only stuck his neck out on the line with his ideas, but has also been very dedicated to the sharing of useful information. I also believe he`s an asset to the industry from not only a discusssion forum standpoint, but as a training one too. Are his ideas the most freshest and ground breaking...No. But he knows the rudimentary principals of the industry and that is why he is welcome on this forum. That goes for anyone as long as they stay within the rules. I say we take things at face value and keep an open mind if possible moving forward.

I resemble that description....lol, I agree Dave that I was heavy handed with Bud as he just does not seem to ever make the right statement at the right time(Maybe a great surgeon with terrible bedside manner) and after two, three twenty times saying a**inine stuff the point needs to be made "Silencio por favor".

Allowing the "Pancroft chronicles" to stay up has my gratitude, as he makes a career out of "A**hattery" and guys need to know as well to be informed of anyone who is a fraud(IMO of course) Dave you have the unlucky experience of dealing with him for a brief time but now he has targeted yet another person close to him(Wish I was in Houston about now...hehe) so Anson will have to deal with him now because you have to give to Andy he will just keep going and going, but of course I have lot`s of stamina for the fight as well.

Hopefully Anson things will turn for the worse on Andy as he screws with folks and his luck runs out yet again in Houston, of course he mentions a second location in Houston besides the Katy location but it is probably B.S. as usual, so keep your head up and put out great work which is the benchmark always.

I don`t envy the job of any mod when it comes to situations like these, but you are right that this is a discussion forum. People are always free to disagree with each other, respectfully of course. I don`t know Bud outside of his posts here, but I guess I should at least give the benefit of the doubt for all he`s done and trying to do for the industry. He has my respect for that, and Bud if you`re reading this, I apologize for my remarks on this thread and the other as well.

As far as the harassing phone calls. Thats nothing a quick meeting behind the local pub in the parking lot can`t solve.

Luckily the only detailer in tampa who tried to bad mouth me at one time has ling since gone out if business. He contacted one of my customers after a local car show and told him about how many imperfections he saw in the car he could fix. My customer actually tried him out and called me after he received my postcard about it being time for a quick touch up. We scheduled a simple wash and wax and I saw the holograms all over the hood. I called him and politely asked him if he would like me to correct the problems someone else left behind. He then told me he did infact try out a new person and regretted it. We agreed to a quick one step and life is good again.

Just keep doing your thing brother. Sometimes customers stray, if your on this forum I doubt there are many in the area able to outdo you.

I wonder who that was, because I`m from that area also. Sorry to this happen to you.

Apparently he`s been telling some of my other clients that he just got back Dubai detailing some Bugattis and Enzos.. I really don`t understand him and his stupid lies. He can`t even afford rent, what makes him think he can go to Dubai? Oh.. and here`s his flyer for his first ever car show. Wine and wheels... Drinking and driving.. ???

I`ve never really been able to relate to people who have more confidence than talent who claim to be able to do more than they can. It`s an alien concept to me. If this guy messes up people`s cars, isn`t he financially liable? Shouldn`t this problem pretty much take care of itself? The thing that worries me most about this guy is letting him near a really valuable car with original paint that the client wants to keep unrestored, and then he goes and ruins the original paint.

Even though I have always thought social events around cars that serve alcohol are unwise, I have to say that that flyer he made up is very sharp looking.

Let it not be said that I avoided answer your retorts. Please by all means let me know clearly and concisely what you would like me to answer, list them and I will certainly do my best to answer them.

Further as far as the DETAIL PLUS Chemspense System is concerned I have intention of trying to sell that system to detailers as it is far too expensive for most to afford. Our market for the systems are auto dealers and owners of large car wash facilities.

    Look forward to your questions.

I can`t believe this ******* has not learned his lesson.

This scumbag along with Rich Light of GI tried to sabotage my account with my local Aston dealer. I was at a Corvette show with "Ming" and on the way back to our hotel he made a comment about how sick he was about hearing about the Astons I had worked on. A few days later I was at Aston and the GM asked to speak to me and told me he and the owner had received an email from a guy in Denver stating I was talking sh!t about the dealer and Aston in general. Well needless to say two years later I still have the account.

All I can say is the guy is lucky he is not local to me. Who knows maybe he and I will meet face to face one day.

Anson, if your clients are dumb enough to have this idiot work on their cars then they`re not worth having as clients. If they do end up coming back after using Andy hit them where it counts........right in the pockets.

Don`t sweat this loser he is nothing more than an annoying yelping chihuahua that`s all bark and no bite.

Statement like this "Oxymoronic" sentence............I HAVE intention of selling it to detailers, but they can`t afford it?????????? then why post on a site where there are detailers and no dealer representatives??.

Bud talking about what you do and sell does at least not bother me..........it is how you say what you say that bothers me, example.

    .Corny "Soar with Eagles" rhetoric

.Top ten things to say with absolutely no detailed information contained therein

.Vieled insults to detailers with statements up to and touching telling them for the most part "you do not know what you are doing" but if you take my course..............

.Hijacking threads continually with no regard to the op`s original topic, but then somehow putting in a "Thought for the day"

These are not questions as you requested, but I am sure most here will agree unsolicited info is not welcome when there is a "Spam burger" grilling on the grill, here is my "thought of the day" as I continually request from another member here who`s name rymes with "Sean Tiller" where are the pics??, with all this info in abundance there should be thousands of pics of you "Doing the do" over the close to half century of auto reconditioning(This goes for the other guy as well who was exposed as the "Copy n paste" bandit on another forum who layed low but now thinks everyone forgot about his shenanigans.....I have not).

The internet has produced hoardes of fluffing and/or embellishing people coming out from under every cyberock they can to bestow on us who are unwilling participants of this droll a constant flow of "bullwaste" to put it nicely, and nary a few of us (Members of any particular forum) will call people on thier B.S..................but everyone knows I will and do as it has too be done as the truth is the truth and that`s that.

Wow, what a thread, I have to believe that Andy guy will get a round of karma that will send him away from detailing for good. I personally know individuals that would slap your teeth down your throat if you screwed up their car, and then make you pay to fix it. All he needs is get one of those guys once, game over.
All I have in this world is my word, and my balls and I don`t break `em for no one, you understand?"

I think you need to pay more attention to what you write. You forgot to include the "no" in "I have no intention of trying to sell that system to detailers as it is far too expensive for most to afford. Our market for the systems are auto dealers and owners of large car wash facilities."

Thank you for your post. No apologies necessary I am not offended by what you post, it is your right to say what you think, feel and believe. If what I post upset you that certainly was not my intent.

There are different styles of teaching (I was a teacher for a number of years in Jr College) and there are different styles of coaching (I also coached for 25 years and patterned myself after Bobby Knight). You can`t please everyone by what you say and how you say it.

What I have learned is to look past the personality of he who says it and focus on what they say that is most important in my mind.

Would love to have the opportunity to chat with you personally if you`d like to call me on my nickel 800-284-0123-Ext 4
