I have been waiting for these to come stateside to see how they look and the possibility of getting a dedicated detail rig. Anybody have one of these yet? Thoughts?

They`ve been over here for months now. I see a ton of them on the road and all my local Ford dealers have a lot full. I looked at one and really liked it.
I have seen a couple flower shops and the like around here with them and have been meaning to head over to my local Ford dealership to see what kind of a price I`m looking at.

It did get Truck of the year at the NAIAS.
I don`t have one but I know someone that chose it over the Sprinter.

These are very nice and as an aside the Port of Baltimore is solely responsible for bringing these vehicles in and making sure that they comply with US regulations. I would like to get one with rear seats and still have a good amount of space for supplies. You can even option one out with an RFID finder so that you can always know where your tools are located (and alert you if one is stolen).
also, my father-in-law is on his second Sprinter. These are also wonderful work trucks that are very efficient/reliable. However, the Sprinter is much more expensive than the Transit Connect.
Sprinter is a lot bigger than the Transit. The Transit is almost toy like. It still is cool.
I priced one out online for about $30 000. Seemed a little steep.
$30,000 is crazy. You should be able to get into one for about $23,000 if not cheaper. At least in my area.
my father was interested in one. so we went and checked them out here in GA
they look nice.
Max load capacity on fords website is 1600 lbs.
they were priced around $23k here.
I just wish you could get the diesel version in the US it gets like 40mpg or more.
