    IIRC there is a thread about this same question. Its all about the inches of lift the vac can produce. The Fein is about 90", the WAP is about 90" too. I think the standard 6.5 hp w/d shop vac is 65". The more grime you pull out before extraction or steaming the better.

    Big Lots has a 5.5 vac /blower for $55. Pretty good one too.Shop Vac

    Just bought a Metro on amazon for $175...works very well besides not being able to suck up water.....
