That`s cool. I have several clients that own PC`s and other buffers, but after trying it themselves, they decided just to call a pro - lol.

That`s cool to hear! Most folks have no clue about "paint jobs" either until they try...

Last spring, I bought a car with A LOT of paint issues, and knew enough to realize that making it right was way beyond my capability. I have always enjoyed taking care of my cars, but had given up even washing this car because the grime hid the marring and swirls!

I have never given up on a car before, but had become resigned to driving a car that looked awful. Looking for some advice and some spot correction, I found out about Rydawg and RickRack through these forums. Not only did I end up with a car that was far beyond my expectations, but I learned so much along the way, and have a whole new approach to caring for this and my other cars.

It was hard for me to give up on doing the work myself, but I could not have achieved anything near the results Ryan did. People who don`t even care about cars have commented on the gloss, and this is not an exotic car!

I am just happy you made the time for me! It seems like you had more than your share of horribly marred black cars this summer...

Thanks for the nice words Tom!

I was very glad to have perfected your car for you Tom. It gave me a run for my money at first but I won.:chuckle: It was a pleasure teaching you proper techniques and is priceless.

p.s. I have your pictures locked in my old computer that crashed and a freind will try to get them out when I have some free time. They came out very nice!

Oh cool! I was not pleased when the debris hit my hood a week or so ago, but I guess this is my chance to get rid of the holograms that the factory left UNDER the clear...or should I have those replicated to keep it authentic?

I got into detailing thinking I could do it pretty easily, but god damn. I started with a budget of about 300 and now it`s pushed all the way up to 900 and I`ve spent months and months researching it and I am still learning. I can`t wait till it`s nice out and I come home from college so I can start up my detailing buisness and actually get down to polishing instead of just washing and waxing
