    The SUV, back 3 sheets of glass have hard water deposits, or spotting that is stobborn as hell. What should I do to remove this ? without a product plug please.

    Use a sponge with vinegar on it then follow-up with your regular glass rountine.

    I personally have dealt with this hundreds of times.



    I use a hunk of steel wool and polishing compound. Just, polish the glass with small circles one area at a time, Clean off, and then get where you missed. it works really well but takes time.

    Clay bar with some window washing fluid can do a decent job. But if the water spots are really bad, 0000 grade steel wool as jparkr2004 stated will do the trick.

    My 99 Suburban had this very bad, I used a PC and Zaino glass polish to get it off .Looks like new now .

    I`ve been successful with Klass AIO via white CCS 5" pad on my UDM...

    pc, 4" pad, compound, light polish, poliseal and water will sheet off it in the rain!
