    I know SIP is very strong and has lots of potential for swirl removal, ect.



    What about wetsanding marks? 1500-2000 grit?



    plan to apply via rotary w/ LC purple wool pad

    It depends on how well you sand, but yes, it will generally work.

    I`ve had no problems using SIP and an orange LC CCS pad on 2000 grit on up. Haven`t been below 2000 in a long time, so can`t tell you beyond that.

    I would not consider SIP strong, 3M ECC and M105 are strong. SIP is a medium cut polish, like said above 2K is about its limit.

    Considering the finest I`ve seen that`s readily available is from Meguiars at 3000 grit in the USA I`m guessing you are one of the few that go any higher.

    Hmm... I`m a beginner. Can u guys professinal detailer explain to me what is all this 3000 grit , 2000grit , 3M ECC , and M105 is. Sorry if i`m bothering u guys...I go crazy for detailing ! haha.
