wow. i have never seen anything like that myself. As mentioned before . . . . . people now days just want to find something to complain about when comes to stuff like this. I have ran into situations where management doesn`t agree with detailing at certain area`s or what not all because one person complains.

    It`s lame.

its a liability thing! their insurance will go up I believe if detailing is allowed (or down if not allowed)

I`ve seen those before in the south. I think they are usually installed for several reasons. I know one reason being that the property owner pays taxes on and pays to maintain their lots. They sometimes get pissed of when other businesses use it for free.

I think it`s bolted right. It`s just bent is all.

Just because one chooses to be a mobile detailer doesn`t mean they have the right to detail where they please. A property owner has the right to govern their property against trespassers and unauthorized work being performed on the premises.

You wouldn`t want me bringing my car to your shop and working on it.

Well, they could have at least used a "U" channel LOL. At least it would be flat.

Looking at that gives me the same feeling as seeing a vehicle with a front license

plate thats bent and curled upward, or a rear one on a pickup, where somehow a trailer tongue indented it. Oh well, it`s their property I guess. I would certainly not like to see this sign if I were paying rent in an appartment complex and had nowhere else to buff out scratches or clean my windows.

There is an office complex in the Dallas area (635/Midway) that doesn`t allow any vendors to work in their parking lots. No washing, no detailing, no windshield replacement, etc. Not sure why, security guard had no idea. Ended up detailing the customer`s car on the street next to the parking lot.

EDIT-didn`t realize this was on old thread and I`d already replied. :lol

There`s a difference between cleaning your own vehicle and charging a fee to clean a vehicle.

And yes, this is an old thread. Who revived this thing!
