This is going to sound selfish, but my favorite detailer is me.

Why? Because I am very proud and constantly inspired by how much I have grown in not just my skill level with detailing but also my business sense over the past 5 years of running this business.

I used to be nervous and unsure when I went out to jobs, but now I`m a lot more confident even with the most intense jobs (detailing dump trucks, 1982 Chevy, soccer mom vans, severely swirled black hard paint, etc.).

I definitely have to give majority of my growth to what I have learned right here on Autopia over the years. I`ve learned everything from how to put my trailer setup together to how to properly clean wheels and so much more.

Even after 5 years of being a member here, I still come here to not just sometimes give advice or inspiration, but also be on the receiving end.

Man, how did I miss this thread!

I guess for me it`s about who I really pay attention to when they post--not just pictures, but who do I really listen to when I see their posts.

Accumulator--hands down, such a great wealth of information.

cleanDean- this guy is a staright warrior and has the business sense to go with it!

g35stilez--come on, this guys is an OG and I always enjoy his posts

TH0001 - talk about raising the bar!

    gmBlack3a- awesome detailer

    rydawg--paint correction master!

Mike Phillips--this is self-expalnitory, he`s been in the game since most of us were knee-high to a grasshopper

Anothony Orosco--same here, he flat out knows his stuff--period.

tdekany--never let`s me down with his posts/new techniques

    Scottwax -prolific with the work!

Rickrack --this guy can really crank out some exceptional work!

Picus--a real master of correction here as well.

I am sure that I am leaving someone out, but those sure came to mind initially.

There are many incredible detailers I admire, but the two that caught my eye in the very beginning and influenced me the strongest are FMINUS, and Got_Leather.

I maybe biased, but after seeing TH0001 work his magic many times and seeing the cars that he works on, Todd has my vote. Some of his CnB`s are very well written and tell a whole story without having to say a word. Somtimes I feel out of breath after seeing perfection repeated over and over. I don`t think there are too many people on here that work on as many exotic cars as he does, and for good reason.

Alot of others on here seem to have alot of talent as well and its a joy coming on this site and reading about the cars that you all have a change to detail.

I can`t wait to see what TH0001 has in store for this year, but yes I`m biased, after all I am his older brother!

I agree with you Ryan, Todd is nearly a lengend on this forum already.

He does set the standard though in all of his write up with his thoroughness and dedication to quality.
