if name for detailing outfit has been claimed.

Trying to think of one and did a Goodgle search all over USA several times.

Did not find a duplicate of the name, but it seems so obvious a choice.

Just worry about it on a local level. When you register your fictitious business name with the county, they will tell you if it is taken or not.

When you fill out a DBA form with the State they will tell you if it is taken or not.

Well I started Bumper to Bumper Mobile Auto Detailing earlier this year. It was either that or Pristine Detailing which I have seen two other people with.

For an LLC the name duplication limits is on a local level, not national.

Everything is done within the state level at first anyways. If you do it at the county level no one else in the county can have the same name. On the state level no one else in the state can have the name. It all depends on how wide you want to brand the name. As a detailing service goes there`s usually not much use in going any farther than your county level.
