How do these two extractors compare to each other? Both are roughly in the same price range, but I`m just wondering which one you think gives better performance and reliability for the money? What makes either one superior or inferior to the other? Thanks.

The Sensei is a nice machine. Very powerful and pretty reliable. I have had some very minor issues. The one I have has a 100PSI pump and heats the water to around 200 degrees. It is a bit heavy, especially with water in it. One person can usually carry it though. It gets the job done quickly and can be used to clean residential carpets. I paid around $1300 for mine; hose, acessory bag and two SS attachments included.

I have the HP60. I love it. Haven`t used the other machine though, so I can only give my 2 cents on the Mytee HP60.

Mine came with an extra hose. A LONG one. The machine also has a blower on it.

    TexasTB,

I`m assuming your extractor is the one piece of equipment that requires the most power to run, correct? I am looking to purchase a generator and am wondering what kind of wattage I would need to run the extractor? Thanks for your help.

    I run this Generator...

2500 running watts, 3125 maximum watts. Easy start, 5.5 HP, fuel-efficient OHV engine. With two 120V outlets.

It runs it fine, but it bogs down a little. I don`t think I would run anything else when my extractor is running. I am looking to buy a larger generator this year though....

I have two Sensei. Quite happy. Be aware that it requires two amp 20 circuits. So, maybe not the most practical mobile unit.

Extractors (all) need service occasionally... make sure you have a local source, as down time sucks!

    Good Luck!

:werd: My "local" is 35 minutes south. I have to schedule vehicles very carefully when I take it in. Could be worse I guess.
