Well, I`ve been here lurking for a while before my registration date after I got the idea of perhaps opening a mobile detailing LLC. I`ve finally gone through with the business plan and gotten it critiqued by a few family members who happen to be enteprenuers and business administration majors.

Anywho; I`ve finally devised a plan and now I really want to get the inside scoop...

In the sense of start-up materials what EXACTLY is needed. Remember, this is a mobile detailing business. Will I need a rig, if so, what all will be needed in the rig and what is the best (truck/van)?

Supplies? I`ve got this taken care of already; I have a large shelf filled with Meguiar`s products and various other `boutique` style products that I enjoy a lot.

With no water tank, generator or pressure washer; how do you detail at ones workplace? I had originally thought about `getting away` without utilizing those to start; but I thought, why not go all out at first?

Optimum No Rinse. I believe there are many members here that are mobile full time and use this exclusively.

    Quick Easy Wash is another.

I`d do a few mobile jobs first before spending any money.

Set one up, go to some parking lot with your own car and show up with your detailing truck and see what you are missing.

Waterless washes are definitely a great product to have in your arsenal.
