Autogeek`s 5th Annual Detail Fest & Car Show is March 27-28, 2010 in Stuart, Florida. Join us for a weekend of detailing classes, demonstrations, manufacturer meet and greet, music, food, and cars!

If you`ve never attended Detail Fest at Autogeek.net`s South Florida headquarters, this is the year to go! Autogeek is celebrating their 5th Annual Detail Fest and Car Show with a great manufacturer turnout, a live band, detailing classes and demonstrations, and of course cars, cars, cars!

Detail Fest is held every year in Stuart, Florida - just a thirty minute drive from West Palm Beach on the east coast. That`s reason enough to come. Florida in March is spectacular for detailing. Autogeek`s parking lot turns into a car show with every make and model you can imagine shined up to perfection by talented enthusiasts. It doesn`t matter what you drive - everything from Smart Cars to Hummers have parked alongside one another to be admired.

Learn how to use a polisher to remove swirls and scratches.

You can detail pre-show or detail when you get here! Detail Fest is all about sharing detailing methods and learning from each other so we encourage you to detail on site. Power outlets and wash stations will be available.

Manufacturers will also be here to share their insight on their products. You can speak directly to representatives from some of the biggest companies in the business, including Meguiars, Mothers, Griot`s Garage, FLEX, Optimum, Lake Country, and many more. Product demonstrations will be going on all day.

One of those demonstrations will be by Kevin and Kari Byrd of Ding Professional Dent Repair, who show you their dent removal skills in action.

Be part of the Detail Fest Car Show.

One of the most popular topics of discussion on this forum and many others is machine polishing. Detail Fest is a great opportunity to learn more about swirl and scratch removal with a polisher. Autogeek`s detailing expert Mike Phillips will be offering two classes on machine detailing and machine sanding. You may have seen Mike featured on the SPEED Channel during the Autogeek Show Car Garage segments which air during Two Guys Garage. Mike will give you hands-on instruction on the basics of polishing with several different machines. Car show participants are automatically signed up for the 9 a.m class on Saturday, March 27. The class is also offered at 2 p.m. The classes are free and open to anyone looking to brush up on their polishing skills. Sign up at Autogeek.net.

Even if you don`t take the class, there will be plenty of opportunities to see polishers in action. Several models will be on hand for demonstrations, including polishers by FLEX, Porter Cable, Griot`s Garage, Meguiars, Cyclo, and Makita.

In addition to the classes, the cars, and the manufacturers, Detail Fest has live music and food! Tradewinds will be playing some Florida-flavored music while Sandy Hook Deli serves up sandwiches and snacks all weekend.

That`s right - ALL WEEKEND. For the first time officially, Detail Fest is two days: March 27-28, 2010. If you`re traveling from out of town, Autogeek has reserved a block of rooms at a newly built hotel less than a mile away. Go to Autogeek.net for all the details.

To be a part of Detail Fest, just go to Autogeek.net and register to show your car. The registration fee includes an official Detail Fest 2010 T-shirt, a goody bag valued at $50 or more, participation in a raffle for three $100 Autogeek gift certificates, and enrollment in Mike Phillips` 9 a.m. detailing class.

For those attending without showing a car, attendance is free. Extra T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
